You are here as your home has been identified by your landlord as qualifying for energy efficiency upgrades.

Energy efficiency upgrades involve installing measures that improve your homes efficiency, making it warmer, more comfortable and environmentally friendly.

Your landlord has opted to improve the energy efficiency of your home by installing an insulation measure, this is likely to be loft insulation or cavity wall insulation as well as a ‘renewable technology’ such as solar panels.

Our installer network

There is a lot of work that goes into retrofitting properties. To ensure we’re able to give you the best experience, we work with various installers to support delivery. This means you may come across different companies during the retrofit of your home.

If you have any doubts about someone making contact with you, please reach out to us and we will be able to confirm.

You will likely hear from Ridge at the start of the works. They will carry out Energy Performance and Retrofit assessments before handing over to United Living for install.

Considerate Constructors – championing change in construction

We fight for best practice in worker wellbeing, community relations and environmental impact.

The Considerate Constructors Scheme is the national initiative set up by the construction industry to improve its image.

Construction sites, companies and suppliers that register with the scheme are monitored against a Code of Considerate Practice, designed to encourage best practice beyond statutory requirements.

The Scheme is concerned about any area of construction activity that may have a direct or indirect impact on the image of the industry as a whole. The main areas of concern fall into three categories: the general public, the workforce and the environment.

All the contractors were diligent in their work. They were very tidy and always cleaned up before they left. We had very little disruption while the works took place. The whole process was very quick and well organised.

The works carried out by United Living have been great. Having neurodivergent children, these things can cause a great amount of distress but Abdul and his team worked alongside us, trying their best to limit stress at every stage. When issues arose, they were dealt with quickly. The tradesman have all been very respectful and have taken great care of our home. The electrician went above and beyond to avoid the need for trunking across our kitchen ceiling, due to extractors fitted and he has done a lovely job. We’ve been very happy with the work and care given along the way.
